Like the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian,
They are deep as these or deeper as i say…
In her eyes saw I when hope had fallen into the abyss,
She shed her cascade from those eyes,
Had witnessed the loss of her only little child..
On another mother I threw a glimpse at,
They fell down her eyes with pride..
Proud was she for her son who had died,
As a soldier so chivalrous; The Nation’s Pride..
Fought till the end for his motherland,
saluted she was taking the honour,
Receiving the bravery medal of her Knight
There then i gazed saw a young maiden who sat,
Perhaps lovelorn for some spoilt brat..
So i thought to urge, move to accost,
Was he worth her tears that crawled?
Broken as she,dejected were they,
Fell from her eyes to lips and to her neck..
Was he worth this waterfall?
Another scenic outburst,
Another abstract of tears there was,
A proud father of his ambitious daughter..
There they fell with a bliss in his crystals,
Watery they were but with ecstasy..
A dream had become a reality,
his daughter was now a personality..
Tears carry no definition,
Tears carry forms..
Not just grief, but they depict bliss too,
not just solitude, they show up when long hours of wait ends too..
From unexpected grief to unexpected victory,
From tears of loss to tears out of pride,
From tears of heartbreak to tears of a bride..
They outflow only for the ones we adore,
Undiscriminating, inevitable and not just salt and water m sure..
They carry an ocean of feelings,
Tears are more real to a smile,
Tears carry messages closer than a smile does,
For tears are a cascade of words we leave unspoken..
They rolling lotion of affection on our cheeks,
fall making those glistening narrow streaks..
Tears as i call them are really a ‘Potion of Emotions’
