The story I’m about to tell, happened in the early seventies when Dubai was not exactly what it may be today. But believe me, this is a true story.

Through his life, Laxminarayan Mukund Hattangadi, has worn many masks, viz. Hindi and Marathi Language Tutor for American Peace Corps volunteers; Indian Army Officer; Traffic Assistant, first with Indian Airlines, Bombay and then with Dubai National Air Travel Agency (DNATA) in Dubai, and finally as Activities Coordinator and Drama Teacher at The Indian High School, Dubai. He confesses that he discovered his true potential while conducting many Theatre Workshops in Dubai and then during his tenure as an Activities Coordinator and Drama Teacher at the school. He successfully used his theatrical background in teaching subjects like English and Value Education, and also conducted various cultural activities like quizzes, elocution and debates. His earlier two books 9 One-Act Plays on Value Education, and Speeches, written under the pen-name of Suneel Hattangadi, were published by Pauline Publications, Mumbai and were highly appreciated. Hic contribution on Facebook through My Notes and short and long Posts is eagerly awaited by all his student-friends. All his short stories are based on his personal inter-actions with youngsters of different age-groups and social background, in Mumbai and Dubai.
