A Collection of Poems – Over a Cup of Coffee
The Day I Die – A Collection of Poems
The day I die,
shall be the day I live.
I shall be burnt,
but my thoughts will prevail.
I shall be burried,
but my soul will stay.
The memories that I lived
will never die.
Somewhere in Someone’s heart,
they shall be alive…
and if a tear rolls down that eye,
I shall consider
the day I died was the day I lived…
The Dream
Last night i had a dream…
a dream I never wanted to wake up from..
a dream so real that even reality seemed an illusion…
a dream so bliss that it had happiness personified…
There she was with a smile to die for..
With a voice, as sweet as honey,
she had my world stood still..
For a moment she felt my own
felt as if I wasn’t alone..
It seemed so real that this seemed unreal..
last night i had this dream…
a dream I never wanted to wake up from..!!!
If I could
Have been walking ever since,
only if I could stop now.
Have been looking ever since,
only If i could get lost now.
Faded are those faces,
who once were companions.
Long lost are those roads,
that once promised the destination.
How well I remember,
running barefoot on the sand
only if I could today,
drop the shoes to forget
where they lie.
There was a time,
when happiness asked no reason.
The journey was the crowning jewel,
not the destination.
What would I not give,
to go back to that time.
Just to look where I lost,
what was always mine.
Just to look since when,
smile needed a dime.
Just to look where I lost,
the me in myself.
But all this,
only if I could,
only if I could…
