There are many things I would like to see,
but only you can see the real things in me.
There are many things I would love to hear,
but only you can hear the things I bear.
There are many things I would like to speak,
but only you can speak the things I talk.
There are many things I would love to feel,
but only you can feel the things that are real.
How will you see the beautiful things in this world, if you are blind?
How will you hear the chirping of the birds, if you are deaf?
How will you speak the truth, if you are mute?
How will you feel the unseen things, if you are numb?
If things are blurry, will you just sit and continue to watch?
If the voices are out of tune, will you just cover your ears?
If their words are all lies, will you not stand up and defend the truth?
If their using physical strength to hurt you, will you just ignore them?
It is true that some things cannot be seen clearly, but we are not blind.
It is true that there are sounds that cannot be heard, but we are not deaf.
It is true that there are words left unspoken, but we are not mute.
It is true that there are attitudes that we cannot ignore, but we are not numb.
We use our eyes to see the beauty and the brightness our lives,
We use our ears to hear the melody and melancholy of happiness and sadness,
We use our mouth to speak honesty and truthfulness,
And we use our feelings to differentiate between love and hatred.
I have chosen the four senses;
Our eyes to see,
Our ears to hear,
Our mouth to speak,
And our touch to feel,
To let everyone know that they are important part of our human body.
