Swing
The swing I took in your eyes,
Took me to the seventh heaven,
It dried my painful tears,
It healed my deep wounds,
You are a healer by nature, oh dear,

Gave me one more chance,
To take the swing and hang around
World has moved so far in between,

A Burning Desire
What if, I could burn all that I have done,
What if, I could erase all that I have been.
What if, I could burn all that I have written,
What if, I could start my life all over again.
What if, I can go back and hold my dad’s hand,
What if, I could re-live from the beginning.
I could avoid all the mistakes committed,
I could stop the hurts that I am guilty.
If, I can re-assure my dad not to worry,
If, I can tell myself calmly not to hurry.
Life starts so late, by then am half way,
Am I to move forward with what I have.
Expected to live this way and sail the wave,
Cleanse the heart,
Sharpen the mind,
Be here, and still achieve the best.
A burning desire to find the last love,
A burning desire to find the real self.
A burning desire to live in the present,
Not to worry the past and future and relent.
A burning desire to be more genuine.
To free myself from the boundaries,
Of all that restricting and holding back,
To be part of creating a new outlook and world.
