English Poem – OH HUMAN!

You burned the houses,
The temples, the mosques!
You orphaned the child
The widow along!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
You cut the trees around,
You destroyed the greenery!
You constructed your castle
on the grave of animals-the other creatures!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
You fought with swords,
Drenched with blood of your brothers!
You became a devil
Practising every evil!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
You raped the woman,
She became a victim!
You shot the humanity
We are ashamed on this system!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
You discriminated between the creatures of God
And now the innocent people stand in awed silence before the Lord!
You tried to conquer love with hate
And now see you are here with empty hands!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
You don’t act the same way the way you preach,
You spread violence and that is all I can see!
Corpse all around on the land where once life existed
Look you have won the war but everything is devastated!
Oh Human! What did you earn???
A simple question I ask
Whom will you rule when everyone is dead?
Why did you use those deadly weapons which were meant to protect?
Will you be able be celebrate your victory in the shed of this ghostly silence???

Now just give me a reason for this violence,
Just tell me the who is behind this silence?
Just tell me where can I find love,
Just tell me where shall I go and search for the flow of life?
Oh Human! What did you earn???
I am waiting for some peace for this world,
I am looking forward to hear some soothing and sympathizing words!
I am waiting for the day when you-human will realize your mistake,
I am looking forward for the day when once again life will begin!
But till that time, look human what you have done!
Oh Human, you killed them all! What did you earn???
