I get up at 6 in the morning , She may or may not turn up for her walk, But i stand out there shivering in my balcony, Just to catch a glimpse of her – just to catch a glimpse of her.
I board the crowded bus, Never mind reaching early to office, Hanging out there on the foot board, Just to catch a glimpse of her – just to catch a glimpse of her.
Its lunch break at office, and her college gets over. I run out of my office pretending to be on a call, Just to catch a glimpse of her – just to catch a glimpse of her.
Her smile so beautiful, her eyes so shiny, Everything around me stops moving When i get a glimpse of her – when i get a glimpse of her.
Night i go out for a walk, Passing by her house in the little dark, With eyes stuck on her balcony Just to catch a glimpse of her – just to catch a glimpse of her.
On my bed before i sleep, I close my eyes & think of her, A big smile appears on my face When she appears in front of me, That lovely angel when she goes away I get up at 6 again Just to catch a glimpse of her – Just to catch a glimpse of her.
P.S. :- This poem is very close to my heart because I have personally done all this and gone through all this so many times that I cant tell you, it feels so good to write exactly what you think, what you actually do. The more I write about her the less it is, her presence is there everywhere around me, she is the one I adored and loved to the core of my heart. Loving you all so much.
