I am sewing my weak backbone,
With the thread of Bhujang Asan,
And knots of Sarvang Asan,
And when its ready then ,
I will dry clean it with Ardh Chandra asan,
And iron it with Vriksh asan,
In a way I am sewing,
My soul broken ,
With the help of every asan,
Which I perform at IIT-Kanpur,
Every morning, at Yoga center.
With my captured strength,
I will participate in celebrations,
Of international yoga day On 21st June,
At IIT-Kanpur sports ground big and green ,
And will salute ancient yoga teachers ,
Our fore fathers Indians ,
For giving world, yoga system ,
Which has capacity to maintain health ,
of – mind, body and soul of world citizen.
Science –Arts – Wonders
I am student of science,
But nurtured in enivironment,
Full of classical and ancient arts,
I got job because of science,
But relish wonderful food bites ,
Inherited from Different colours ,
Of beautiful traditional arts.
My mother is science,
My “maa” is arts,
I love both, science and arts,
I am beloved of science and arts,
When I am confused about arts,
To my rescue comes science,
When I meet science ,
Along comes arts,
When I meet arts,
Calls me at home is science,
At the same footing are daughters,
Of this universe , science and arts,
Complementary to each other,
Are science and arts,
For acquiring knowledge, I fight ;
For superb disciplines science and arts.
Oh! my god, do you know, friends!,
How much I get concerned ,
When question are raised,
On use of knowledge,
Of science and arts,
I feel at places, insulted ;
Where science or arts,
Are not well treated.
Let us seek blessings,
From science and arts,
Seek knowledge-wisdom,
From science and arts,
And create beautiful world,
Which respect wonderful science,
And appreciate beautiful arts.
