It Can Come True – Poem on Earth
Beneath the expanse of the azure sky, where cotton clouds occupy the space left by relentless sun
I see a vibrant dream which is gradually transforming into a glorifying truth.
It’s a painting that unfurls human’s greatness and his divine goodness
Let me show you the place of eternal light that casts a shadow of selfless deeds and evergreen compassion
Let your agony struck eyes embrace the warmth of an endlessly vivid future
This is conjured by me , you and all of you
Experience the elegance, magnificence and fragrance of this place yourself
through this poem which I have written below
Earth– An abode of goodness
A place where faces gleam like the flowers
A place where love is expressed through persistent showers
The air where people breathe undefinable contentment
The land where flowers bestow such an euphonious scent
A civilization where knowledge is not bound
A society where caste, creed, color etc is no more a ground
A field where farmers are paid equally for their labor
A sight where we help them whenever they need us
A change when folks and others stop breaking hearts
A vision where we humans stop cutting trees and grass
A berth of memories
A station of glees
A town of passion
A river of compassion
A domicile of unity
A habitat of integrity
A place where justice soars
and a place where no threats roar
This needs inconceivable efforts
This needs true direction
It needs to start
It needs the action
When will the country awake?
When will we stop polluting the lakes?
When will we cease throwing plastic on the streets?
When will we learn to respect nature and its trees?
Why can’t we improve?
Why can’t we follow the lessons of god?
Why don’t we take a step
to apply what has been taught by the lord?
This place is not merely a dream
This place we are striving to achieve
But we need to join our hands
No matter what distinctions we have , we should protect this treasure of land
We must strike a chord with revolution
‘Humanity being followed’ the only resolution
Let’s make our ancestors proud
Let’s make our actions little more loud
Today is the day of Gandhi’s birth
and he only wished for thousand others like him on the earth
We need to stop the ruthless violence
We need to discover the millions of hurts
Just stop for a moment and look
This earth can be an abode of greatness; First stop being a crook!!!
