[1.] The world that could be…. Poem on Earth

Poem on Earth – The world that could be….

A thousand feet above the earth,
I see no LOCs, I see no fences…
Maybe I’m dreaming.

A thousand feet above the earth,
I see vast blue sea, full of dolphins jumping out of water without the fear of hunters..
Maybe I’m dreaming.

A thousand feet above the earth,
I see huge pieces of ice reflecting light, penguins dancing and aurora of polar bear hunting…
Maybe I’m dreaming.

A thousand feet above the earth,
I see endless green fields, With towers of giraffe, heards of buffalo roaming around….
Maybe I’m dreaming

A thousand feet above the earth…..

I wake up and around I see. Earth, it looks like.
I see fortified borders and electrified fences.
I see ocean of blood of dolphins killed.

The huge pieces of ice are nowhere to been seen.

I see penguins on a piece of wood…
I see towers of giraffe, eating up waste left by a ‘Eco-lodge’.
I see heard of buffalo moving into metropolises.

And I think of a perfect world that could rather be.

[2.] Life is a tunnel – Poem on Life

Poem on Life – Life is a tunnel

Life is a tunnel

I walk down a dark road on a stormy night
I don’t know where it goes but here I am, all alone
A tunnel I see, maybe it’s a path to somewhere
somewhere better I hope

I walk in the darkness, all drenched
As I enter, out comes a camp of bats
Scared I’m, numb
Still I walked, in not knowing the outcome.

I see through the dark and I see
The ghosts walking with me and I feel like one of them
There is no earthly way of knowing
Which way I am going

I keep walking, thinking about the past
And the future not knowing
Minutes changed to hours and hours in days
I still am walking.

Along came many turns, some awaited me
Some deviated me from my path
Haven’t seen a ray of light in long
I wonder if I made a turn wrong

I don’t know which way I am going
nor know which I came from.
Refusing to sink, I kept my search
I don’t see 360 ’round

Nor know the answers all
My journey burned of anger and fury, times I felt sorry
Had pain, sorrow and fear which all made sense
Reinforced my beliefs and kept going

How long a tunnel can be
was perhaps one of many answers, not known to me.
At far I see, a ray of hope, seemed like a new beginning
Through the mist, into the sun, I walked out

Sparkling eyes and hearts of gold, the gift of life has come to me.
My heart is full and I am free,

To accomplish,
To overcome,
To conquer.
