Three Poems – Solitaire, Dejection and I Need Someone

1. Solitaire

I am a Solitaire.

Unknowing of my existence.

living in this mortal misery,

turning blankness into spectrum,

like spectrum are my abilities.

Trapped in this coal mine

thirsting for my dare

I am a Solitaire.

 

Scarlet, starlet, shining bright

I am the beauty to behold!

The darkness around me has struck.

No one can find me, as solitary as I am.

I lie here Oblivious.

Craving to shine, I swear.

I am a Solitaire.

 

Trodden, trushed and trampled upon.

I had almost left the hope.

At night I catch the moonshine

I light up the mine

like never before.

And yet nobody knows me, I am unveiled, unaware.

I am a Solitaire.

 

I don’t care if others know my worth in millions

I will surely outshine, outline,

the mark where i wait for my destiny,

my destination.

I am unbreakable, Strike harder.

Looking out for you, I stare.

Yes, indeed, I am a Solitaire.

 

2. Dejection 

Turn my head, softly cry

feel the soul within me die

here i sit alone i wait

so many things to contemplate

depressed longing nd an aching heart

falls to pieces, breaks apart

salvation sparklig in thy eyes

starts to fade and slowly dies

your love, my life, A masquerade

grabbed hold so tight regardless fades

where are you? and where am i?

love in pieces, creases and dies…

 

dejection in me never goes away

push it, pull it, but there it stays

how can it be worthless, i try

to figure out for what shall i cry?

i yearn for fruits of love, sweet and tart

but instead only pain it imparts

i blame myself for being born this way

i plead my mind to stop this play

trying hard to get out of it, i know

but i can’t even let it go

where are you? and where am i?

love in pieces, creases and dies….

 

3. I need Someone

i need someone to whom i’m important and not my frets

i need someone who pours me his deepest secrets

i need someone who never goes without me

i need someone who’s empty without me

 

i need someone to whom the world is me

i need someone who purely knows me

i need someone who can understand me

i need someone who completely merges with me

 

i need someone with whom i can fight

i need someone who still wont mind

i need someone who helps me in every stage of life

i need someone who helps me cross this ocean of life

 

i need someone, my sole company

i need someone who’s always sweet to me

i need someone who never at my mistakes laughs

i need someone who correct my flaws

 

i need someone who patiently hears me

i need someone to whom foreign is jealousy

i need someone who can cry with me

i need someone who always stays with me
