Meghna, a sweet little girl was born on Christmas day to Aman and Vidya. Aman and Vidya had craved for a child for 7 long years, finally god blessed them with this bundle of joy…she was tiny..she was beautiful and pink. Vidya was overwhelmed to hold her, but also confused as to how to hold her and make her feel comfortable. She has been waiting for this moment all these years, but when it happened, she was clueless. Aman and Vidya had no support from their family.
Aman had to play the role of Meghna’s father as well as Vidya’s mother too. He wanted to ensure that he tried his best to make the 2 important ladies of his life feel the best. He tried decorating the house with some balloons and flowers. He welcomed Vidya and the baby inside the house. Vidya was delighted to see Aman’s efforts and was in tears..she put the baby in the cradle and was sitting. She found a hand written note written by Aman…
“Thank you dear, for being my queen and now welcoming my Princess into this world. I know it has not been easy, but we will sail through this together. I am with you in this process, you are not alone. It is our baby. This is new for both of us, there will be times when you would be angry, irritated and feel hopeless….but I am there for you…not that I am an expert….but I promise, I will try to understand your mood swings…in this process of raising our little one, lets not forget that she is in this world, because of our love…so loving each other and ourselves is also important. You will always be my queen. Love you.”
Meghna was in tears, she just went and hugged Aman…and said “You would always be my king”.
And there goes the baby, she already was feeling left out…missing her momma and papa.
