Published by Smita in category Childhood and Kids with tag friend | play | Teacher

A little boy, went to school daily, by foot. This little boy named Nandu, was very cute.

On his way to school, he saw the vegetable vendors, the fruit sellers, a man who used to sell small toys during winters and ice creams and candies in summers. Nandu had a friend named Pinku, who was the son of the toy man. Daily when Nandu used to pass by that marketplace, Pinku saw him. As time passed by, both became friends.

Nandu’s mother would pack tiffin for him and wake him goodbye for school. She would institute him to go safely and come back properly. During the rainy season, what are used to collect in small holes on his way to school. A day while going to school, Nandu jumped in one of these holes. He enjoyed the water splashing around. Seeing him, little Pinku asked, ” can I also join you Nandu bhaiya?” Nandu called out to him and together enjoyed in rain.

Nandu reached school, miss teacher asked him how his shoes-socks and clothes got so dirty. To escape from the scolding he lied that he fell on the road while coming to school. This continued for many days. Seeing this, his teacher call his mother to school.

On her way to school Nandu’s mother saw Pinku playing in the water holes. She asked Pinku, ” beta what are you doing?”,

To this he innocently replied, “Aunty me and my Nandu bhaiya play this way every day when he goes to school and returns home.”

“Oh, is it so! ok beta, enjoy, but don’t continue for too long”.

When and who was back home today, his mother asked him about his dirty clothes. He said, ” mom my class fellow pushed me on the road and he does it so every day and so is the condition of clothes”.

“My dear son do you know who I met today?, I met your friend Pinku, and he told me how you both enjoying the rain daily. So baby, I know all about you dirty clothes, you don’t need to lie to me”.

“Oh Mamma, you know it, I am sorry”, said Nandu.

“No need to be sorry Bache you can enjoy but not in uniform. And one thing more I have to say is that do not lie to me for anything”.

Now Nandu and Pinku play on the road in water after he returns from school.
