There was an empire. There is no mirror there. People do not know what a mirror is. That is the empire with no mirror.

There was a diligent farmer.

The spring is ahead. The farmer was working with his land. The land is forked and roughly dug.  The roots of weeds exposed to the frosts that would follow. He was planning to plant over wintering vegetables like cauliflower, onions, garlic and leeks.

The sun is shining. It reflected in the mirror. This mirror has come out from the land while the farmer forked it as he lifting and digging the soil.

The farmer could not recognize what it is. When he gazed in the mirror, he saw his face in it. He saw his own image, but he did not how his image will be.

The farmer thought that his father is hidden in this object and he had come to bless him. He took the mirror and reached home. He carefully kept it in his trunk.

His wife is squabbling and discordant, bickering and conflicting. She saw, her husband often gets himself in the room, locked from inside. He meets his father in the mirror and explains him his wows. He is not happy with his wife. She always shows her anger on him, finding some fault with him.

The farmer’s wife was wondering. What he is doing in the room? Whenever the farmer is at home, he is in the locked-room. His wife got fed up with him. She wanted to find out what  he is doing in the room?

One day, when the farmer is not at home, she searched the room like a professional investigator. After a lot of investigation, finally she found the mirror. She wondered what this thing will be. When she looked in to this, she saw her image. She actually does not know, how she will be.

She was angry on her husband, thinking that he has a secret relationship with another woman. She thought that her husband has concealed this woman in this unknown object.

She decided to report the matter to the emperor. She knows that the emperor was good and he has affection towards his people. She dragged her husband to the court and reported to the emperor about her husband. She asked the emperor to view who was hidden in the mirror.

The emperor also knows not what is a mirror. He examined it and looked inside the mirror. The emperor saw his own image in the mirror. The image  is  with   imperial dress with the sword hanging to his waist. The emperor knows not that it is his own image. He thought, the farmer has concealed his enemy in the mirror and brought him directly to the court. He was angry at the enemy and he hurled the mirror with force.

The mirror hit the ground and it is broken in to four pieces. The emperor saw his enemy in all the four pieces in four sides. He is more annoyed thinking that more enemies are brought in. Just then, his smart minister came there. He is sharp by nature, though he also does not know what is a mirror.

He finally found that it is a unknown device which shows the image when we look in to this. He named it a reflector or imager. The scholars named it a mirror. The emperor ordered to make mirrors in his empire. Later , this empire is called a ‘mirror empire’.
