It’s been an hour that I’m not able to write even a sentence on the paper. I have gone blank on what to narrate and present as course of completion of the school assignment tomorrow. I begin with writing a plot of a movie that I recently watched, later I tried on my own writing about the people and surroundings, but nothing made me feel excited to continue with.
Now I decided to narrate one of my best moments that I had experienced which could be pretty cool and easy to narrate as well. Slowly I closed my eyes and started searching for the memories to put on. All of a sudden, one of the surprise nostalgia flashed to me. It’s about the women who come to see me every year on the spring season. She wears a red dress and stand beside the banyan trees that are widely spread around my farmhouse, located 2miles away from the town Hizzore. She got a pretty long hair and a very kind eyes that i love to watch for. To me she is the best women that i ever saw. As soon as i woke up in the morning, i just go and stand to the window and look at her. She gives me a blissful smile and waves her hand to me and wait for me to wave back at her….
…………
“Bittu…come down the stairs. We are waiting for you!!!”
The memory flash got disappeared as soon as my grandma called out for a dinner. I kept my assignment aside and went down to the dining hall. My grandpa and grandma was already waiting for me to join.
I pulled a chair from the dining table and eyeing at what she prepared for dinner.
“Yummy….It’s my favorite combination of Roti with Panner Kofta? Thanks granny.”
Though she can prepare the roti’s so tasty and perfect in size, being old age she couldn’t able to prepare seamless now a days. But grandpa don’t like if the roti’s are not like roti. So he started making fun of looking at them,
“Is this a roti or a handkerchief??”
In return, granny gave a nice reply.
“Come on dear…Did you expect a Five star quality of roti’s for you?”
I was more enjoying their conversation than the roti’s. We had a pleasant time and a delicious dinner together. I wish to spend some time with them, but I’m drowsy enough already. So I bid bye to them and dropped off to bed.
Next Day (6:30am)
The cool spring air started to peek inside my room through the balcony window. While the chill air hugging me softly, I heard a voice of a women calling me.
“Oh Son!!! Here I come…Wake up dear.”
I then suddenly jumped up from the bed and ran towards the window. Oh my gosh, there she is again…
Wearing the red dress and standing in front of my farm house gate, besides the woods of huge banyan trees. As soon as I saw her, my tears stepped out my eyes and started rolling on to the cheeks.
“Oh Mom, You come again…”
Suddenly I felt like heavy air lifting me up and I could also sense someone hugging me tight and kissing my forehead.
“Love u my son…”
It was three years since she met with an accident by today. And she never missed here to come see me every year on same day.
Neither she is a soul nor do I have any powers to see them.
She neither was my hallucination nor is I disorder child to experience it.
But I believe that the precious maternal love and care up on me was the sole reason that god led her to see me from the far heaven, and the affection that I have up on her was the reason that I can able to see her.
I could now sense the air loosening its warmth around me. As its time for her to return back to place were she arrived from.
“Bye my dear son. Grew up well. I will be with you always.”
I started waving back at her while she slowly disappeared in to the sky.
This unbelievable experience make me feel every second that, how lucky I’m to have a mother like her. Those moments are the best that I could store up to keep growing as my mom wishes me to see like……
And now I wish for one more SPRING TO COME SOON….
