Meenakshi or Meenu so she was called, a sixteen year old , a perfect beauty of her age was going to sleep. Once fallen on the bed she was fast asleep. In her sleep she started dreaming. Meenu had become a fairy, a beautiful fairy with wings. She was flying in the sky. She was seeing the world in her own perspective. Beautiful mountains ,lakes, plants ,trees ,flowers,fruits and what not. Aha, the world was so beautiful, she thought. Now the fairy thought it was time to take a landing.
Meenu landed in a beautiful garden ,with full of flowers. The flowers were so big that the fairy had trouble with her wings hitting the flowers. She was walking through the garden, suddenly she saw an old man sitting near a tree. He appeared like a magician with a wand in his hand. Meenu walked to him and he smiled at her . What you want beauty ? He asked her. She shook her head and said,” No, I don’t want anything’’ .There was a lake near the tree. The magician touched her with the wand and she turned into a beautiful mermaid. The mermaid jumped into the lake and started swimming.
As she was swimming ,she met many other mermaids on the way. They swam together and her new friends took her to a magnificent palace.What a sight it was! A beautiful palace with lots of beautiful things inside. She was given a delicious lunch by her friends. She had such a wonderful time at the palace with her friends. Now it was time for Meenu to return. She bid goodbye to her friends and was on her way back home .
On her way back , Meenu felt that something was coming behind her. She turned back to see a big shark chasing her. Meenu the mermaid was swimming as fast as she could, to escape from the shark. However with all her efforts, she could not get rid of the shark. It caught her on her tail. She was pulling out herself with maximum force from the shark’s mouth.Then hearing her name called out Meenu opened her eyes. She saw her mother shaking her legs and was calling out Meenu ,Meenu,wake up it’s time to go to school. She was pulling out her legs from her mother’s grip. So this was the big shark who had caught her. She laughed to herself.
