Extinct night – Scary Short Story
That was a rainy night I was adding some ink to my notepad, I was searching to add more. Thunder storm and lightening flashed my memory. Really the situation would be a threat for those who were alone in home. Suddenly power went off and I was lighting a chimney which provided light for those days with no power. My writing proceeded with some threat of being alone in this situation. Doors and windows shattered with strong wind blowing outside. I saw my writings turning black and I dropped my pen in my pad. At the juncture there was a knock at the door continuously. I was shocked as it was really a half past mid night.
I was about to open the door and there were nobody instead I saw some ice cubes from up. Suddenly there was a hissing noise at the back door and also a knocking sound which crackled my heart’s strength. My adrenalin was pumping high as I approached the door. Again there was nobody my loneliness made my strength at stake. I was very nervous and my brain stopped working. I had a feel of somebody was approaching towards me. I was choked as if my throat was held strong, I could see only rain rather nobody else was there. I was gasping to death; I fainted and fell down that night. On waking up I was at the bed and pinching myself as there was a Nostradamus thinking. I looked on the wall clock It was approaching to knock 2am in early morning.
My instinct said it was a night mare, the chimney light always shows any ink dark, and ice cubes were responsible for knock of the door and hard winds were known to shatter windows and I was gasping without oxygen as it was more smoggy out there with rain. I was something happy that I din’t die. I washed my face and looked at my face in mirror there was no image of mine. My wall hanging photo frame said I am extinct too before 10 years.
Silence prevails!!!
