I am a 17 and a half year old female. I have been writing poetry and very short stories since I was in the fourth grade. I have always loved reading and writing. I love expressing my thoughts in ways that hopefully other people can read and relate to. My English teacher once told me that I should publish my writings or sell them. I told her that as much as I need the money for sports and schooling, I would rather not sell my writings because they came from me, they are a part of me and it wouldn't be right to hand over the credit for my hard work, thought, and effort, to someone else.
