Friendship – Collection of Poems

Time ticks away, things get to change.

Would the friendships of people be unchanged?

Or would they fall into decay?

For me, it depends on the people to say.

 

Friendships are lasting and endurable,

if both parties really care and are reliable.

If so, the relationships are true and material.

Bringing copious joys are they, and ethereal.

 

Enviable are they, and I pursue.

But the process may not be easy to be true.

Maybe amiable and sociable am not me,

For a wide circle of friends, I cannot foresee.

 

However, or have I misapprehended?

True friends don’t manifest from more friends.

Do I not see friends deep enough?

Do I see friendships too rough?

 

Perhaps I think too much,

am bored rigid as such.

Or maybe I am being ridiculous,

jaundiced, overreacted and timorous.

 

Questions go on emerging,

but I think it’s important to be satisfying.

I should cherish everything and be merry,

and just relax and don’t overly worry.

 

Perhaps I should let nature takes its course.

Let the stone of friendship roll and gathers no moss.

Open my heart and see,

the world is such a wonderful place full of glee.

 

 

Unrequited love – 

You are the big tree,

which always shelters me

from the inclement weather outside,

and makes my unease to subside.

 

You are the infinite sky,

which lets me fly high

and show my potential and capacities,

giving me confidence and dignity.

 

You are the boundless ocean,

which nurtures colourful fusion

of vast lives of animals and plants,

like our bond which to me it enchants.

 

You are the radiant sun,

which makes me a blessed son

bathed in warmth and effulgence

of virtues like support, love and forbearance.

 

You are everywhere and an indispensible essence.

I am cared and elated in your presence.

I am nothing without you entirely,

You are eternally my dear family.

 

I am deeply indebted to you,

All of your love is so true.

Though I can never requite you in full,

Ad infinitum I will treasure, care and respect you.

 

You are great and magnificent,

You are unique to me and that’s evident.

In my life with you is the most memorable time.

In my heart you are always placed prime.
