[786: Belief or Just Coincident – Short Story with Moral]
My superstar Amitabh Bachhan was shot by a bullet in front of my eyes. My heart beat was about to stop. Suddenly I saw him taking out a steel badge branded with 786 that came between him and deadly bullet.
My superstar was intact. I could not stop myself from clapping. From my childhood I am a big fan of Amitabh Bachhan and never missed any of his movies in our local theatre. That day, I was watching one of my favourite “Deewar” on 70 mm screen of the theatre. Since that day I have been very fascinated about this number. I always felt something special about it as childhood believes are most honest and innocent and make a very deep impression.
I am not very good creative writer but always wanted to share childhood stories, my thoughts and memories with world, and wanted those stories to live forever. With that aspiration I joined the yourstoryclub.com. It was recently launched and gaining popularity quickly. I was first few to join the club and following it regularly. When I joined the club, it has number of fans (who liked the club on Facebook) in single digit. Slowly I could see the number growing more and more as the club popularity reaching to more and more people.
One day I thought to compose my best childhood memory and publish it on this club. Out of curiosity I opened its Facebook page to see number of fans. I was divinely surprised “786 Like this”. I left the page opened for a while but liking at face book seemed to be halted. It could be mere coincident; I thought but it was quite inspirational. I took screenshot of the page and started writing the story of my childhood memory — “My Biology Sir…”. Same day I sent that story for publishing. Next day my story was published at yourstoryclub.com. I was very pleased to see that many readers liked it and wrote their comment. Suddenly I saw my address bar in browser. My story was published at page number 786 (https://yourstoryclub.com/?p=786).
It could again be coincidence but it helped me to make my divine belief stronger. Many people don’t believe in such divine experience and may not believe this number. But few others, such as me, have blind faith in this number, beyond boundaries of any religion or religious believe. When I am writing this experience, yourstoryclub.com has more than 1500 followers and 10 thousand story listeners. I hope that everyone’s belief would help him to reach his goal. I hope my belief will not let me down in future.
