The wedding was soon, and filled with amaze, The ton couldn’t believe it, they were in a daze. They were in daze, as to what had come to pass, They still waited for the news, that this was all farce,
I’m letting it go now, letting it fall,I’m leaving it forever, but I’m not missing you at all. In the little game of game of gamble, in the big hazard of time,
She forgot to be conscious.She even forgot to think. In that moment, there was him. And there was her. And there was lots of laughter and lots of happiness.
So, his uncharacteristic show of concern for her, touched her and in that moment, ironically, she did not feel lonely. Oh, she was alone, alright. But not lonely.
He pulled back slightly, but only so that he could cradle my face with his hands. He held me there for a few seconds, and I thanked God, that we had chosen a rather secluded place to stand.
I sighed, trying to hold on to whatever was left behind…But tiny little memories were all that I could find.These memories were like grains of sand.
I was so engrossed in singing along with the song and inhaling the typical smell of the rain that I did not even notice that there was a turn ahead.
“Anna, what can I do, what can I say to make you forgive me.” Then he added softly. “To make you fall in love with me?”
My eyes jerked up to meet his playful smile. And I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks. Thank God it was dark enough that he could not see my blush.
“Keep them. The bag and the other things you ga- we exchanged. I don’t need your friendship and I don’t need those memories.” I said gesturing towards the bag.
