Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of three lines with five-seven-five (or less) syllable pattern. It conveys a simple idea in the minimum number of words to produce the maximum effect.
My mind- shipwrecked,gloriously so;decaying remains of dreams unfulfilled,adorn its recesses,emanating pungent odors
Poet’s Note: This is a ‘dark’ poem, depicting -in poetic detail- a man regretting his actions upon the moments preceding his death. If this isn’t your proverbial ‘cup of tea,’ then I perfectly understand if you don’t read it. Otherwise enjoy!
